Get Involved

We rely on the help of volunteers to provide services to the community. There are a wide variety of volunteer opportunities available!

Become a Member

Volunteer at Events

Event volunteers help us table at events where we distribute plants and provide gardening education and resources. New volunteers are given training resources ahead of time and are paired with more veteran members at events.

Other Opportunities

Listed below are just some of our other needs. If you have any other skills you would like to offer, don't hesitate to get in touch.

Content Writing

Grant writing, social media posts, plant education material

Operations Support

Project management, IT support, finance management

Outreach

Become a Plant Parent

Plant Parents donate propagations and help us provide a consistent source of free plants to the community. Whether you are a seasoned gardener or new to plants - anyone can be a Plant Parent!

How to Drop-Off Plant Donations

Plant Parents are encouraged to bring donations to our events and are free to participate in the event as guests or table with us. We just ask that you contact us ahead of time to let us know how many plants you plan on bringing. If you can't make it to an event, we have two drop-off options.

Norma's Corner Shoppe

5902 Catalpa Ave
Ridgewood, NY 11385

Norma's is our regular drop-off location for all plants. During business hours, there is a labeled table where you can leave your donations.
